Leeds United agree potential sell-on clause with Feyenoord as Luis Sinisterra gets ‘here we go soon’ approval by Fabrizio Romano

Leeds United are dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s ahead of completing a £21.4million move for Feyenoord and Colombia forward Luis Sinisterra, according to Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Writing on Twitter on Tuesday morning, transfer guru Romano reported that Leeds have agreed a deal that includes add-ons and potentially a sell-on clause that could benefit Feyenoord in the futurre.

It is understood that Sinistra, 23, has already agreed personal terms with the Whites and that he and RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams are “coming soon” to Elland Road.

Future boost for Feyenoord

You cannot blame Feyenoord for trying to tie a sell-on clause in any agreement with Leeds.

Sinisterra was in stunning form for them last season, scoring 23 goals and supplying 14 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions as the Rotterdam club finished third in the Eredivisie and reached the finals of the inaugural Europa Conference League.

The Colombia international is a prospect and there’s no doubt Feyenoord are looking at his potential move to Leeds and hoping that he can replicate what Raphinha has done at Elland Road.

Leeds United

While it remains to be seen if Sinistrella is a replacement for exit-bound Raphinha as he’s mainly a left-sided winger, Feyenoord will look at the speculation surrounding the Brazilian right now and fancy a slice of a potential future pie when it comes to their dazzling winger.

However, Leeds are not managed by Marcelo Bielsa anymore and there’s no doubt the Argentine oversaw a huge improvement in Raphinha.

Can Jesse Marsch have the same effect on Sinistrella? We really do hope so.

We’ve got a good feeling about this one.
