Leeds United have agreed a two-year commentary deal with BBC Radio Leeds, the club have announced.

The Whites confirmed on 18 July that their relationship with the radio station will now last until the end of the 2025/26 season.

This will see live commentary of all Leeds fixtures be available to fans with player and manager interviews being a regular feature.

Leeds United confirm BBC radio partnership

The Whites missed out on the Premier League via the play-offs after losing to Southampton at Wembley in frustrating circumstances.

As Daniel Farke prepares his side for another season in the Championship, supporters will now be hopeful of securing promotion.

If Leeds can manage to keep hold of their best players beyond the summer transfer window, they have as good a chance as anyone.

They clocked up 90 points in the league last season which would be enough for promotion in any other season in the division's history.

There are likely to be more iconic moments next season, after the likes of Archie Gray's goal against Leicester City last year, that will garner great commentary lines.

The BBC will continue to be the voice which provides fans with the opportunity to listen to matches when they can't follow the team in person.

It is a relationship that will be so important to plenty of Leeds fans and it is hugely positive news to continue into the new campaign.
