Leeds transfer round-up: Paixao medical booked amid radical change
Leeds United have seen their transfer window gather pace in recent weeks.
The Whites’ tally of new summer additions now stands at seven after the arrivals of Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach and Lucas Perri.
Perri recently became the latest man to join the ranks at Leeds, but the West Yorkshire outfit will still be keen to get more new faces through the door ahead of the opening game of their Premier League return on 18 August.

Isaac Schmidt agrees Leeds exit as Werder Bremen loan imminent
Isaac Schmidt is close to a Leeds departure, as the Swiss international has now agreed a deal in principle to join Werder Bremen on loan, according to Patrick Berger via X (28 July).
The Bundesliga side may have settled on an initial loan deal for the 25-year-old, but negotiations are still ongoing about a potential obligation or option to buy as part of the deal.
It is also understood that Daniel Farke is keen to ensure he can get a replacement signed before he sanctions Schmidt’s exit.
Nevertheless, it now seems a matter of time before the right-back departs West Yorkshire.

The situation surrounding Mateo Joseph’s potential Leeds departure has now changed radically.
The striker has been heavily linked with Real Betis since the start of the summer, but it is understood that the landscape in Spain has now altered drastically.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are unable to meet the £12million asking price that has been set by the Whites, and have already seen the offer of a loan-to-buy deal knocked back.
Girona are now trying to gain the upper hand in the race by preparing an offer of their own for Joseph, although it is believed that their bid is also likely to centre around an initial loan agreement.
Igor Paixao to travel to France for Marseille medical
Leeds’ pursuit of Igor Paixao looks as if it is finally about to draw to a close, with the winger set to travel to France for a medical before a move to Marseille.

Leeds’ failure to land Paixao will be a frustrating outcome for Farke and Co., given that they have seemingly had the Brazilian within their clutches on several occasions over the last few days.
