Leeds transfer round-up: Illan Meslier update as player exit blocked
Leeds United still have a lot of work to do this summer.
Four new arrivals have checked in at Elland Road so far, though Daniel Farke will be intent on adding several more before the Premier League campaign gets underway this time next month.
The hope is that those deals can be accelerated in the coming weeks, with Igor Paixao one of several to have been linked with Leeds.
Here, MOT Leeds News rounds up the latest links to have emerged from the Whites.

Leeds respond to Richarlison links
Leeds have made no secret of the fact that they are looking for attacking reinforcements this summer, and have been linked with a move to sign Tottenham’s Richarlison.
However, since the links, Ben Jacobs has claimed that the Whites have dismissed those rumours, ending any speculation of a move.
Speaking via Last Word On Spurs (17 July), the journalist said: “There remains Saudi and also some Brazilian interest in Richarlison. So, let’s see how that one develops.
“I think Leeds was the other link, but when I went to Leeds, much like Everton, it was largely downplayed for Richarlison because it’s a big fee and quite a high wage as well.”

Illan Meslier exit on the cards this summer
Leeds have also been searching for a new goalkeeper with fears that Illan Meslier will not be up to standard in the Premier League, with Graham Smyth revealing that progress has been made.
Via X (18 July), the YEP journalist claimed that interest had been picking up in Meslier, though the Whites are yet to receive a firm offer for the Frenchman.
Farke’s side are also said to be progressing in their hunt for his replacement, with several goalkeepers already linked with a move to Elland Road.
Leeds to block Mateo Joseph exit as bid rejected
Mateo Joseph spent the majority of the last campaign on the bench for Leeds, and with the Whites trying to sign a new striker this summer, it’s hard to imagine that changing.
However, Farke’s side have already rejected a bid for the Spaniard from Beits, with Beren Cross reporting via the Athletic (18 July) that they have no desire to sell him this summer.
Joseph started just 11 times under Farke in the Championship, though he still was able to register six goal contributions in just over 1,200 minutes of football.
