Leeds have been tracking Argentinian playmaker Facundo Buonanotte throughout the transfer window.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Leicester City from Brighton.
Buonanotte is believed to have plenty of potential and is already an Argentine international.

Now, it has been confirmed that Leeds do hold a genuine interest in Buonanotte ahead of the new Premier League season.

Liverpool want £20m for Ben Doak
Elsewhere, Leeds are also keen on bringing in a new winger this summer.
After the failed attempt to sign Igor Paixao, Farke has quickly moved on to other targets.
Now, Leeds have reignited their interest in Ben Doak after his successful loan spell at Middlesbrough.

On the departures front, it looks ever more likely that Mateo Joseph will leave Leeds this summer.
The striker has struggled to adapt at the Yorkshire club and has consistently underperformed.
Now, Joseph is understood to be undergoing a medical at Mallorca ahead of a move away.
This will see him go out on loan to the Spanish side as he hopes to get his career back on track.
