Leeds transfer mission for Pavel Sulc emerges ahead of ‘sensational’ £6.7m move
Leeds United have not sealed promotion to the Premier League yet but they are certainly preparing for life in the top flight.
With 11 games left to play, Leeds are placed at the top of the Championship table, sitting three points above second-placed Sheffield United, meaning they are on course to seal automatic promotion.
That would warrant some new signings in the summer transfer window, although the Elland Road outfit are facing uncertainty behind the scenes amid Angus Kinnear’s imminent move to Everton.
The CEO is set to step down from his role at the end of the season, but this has not stopped Leeds from laying the groundwork for transfers that would enable them to compete in the Premier League.

Pavel Sulc catch eyes of Elland Road scouts
Leeds scouts have been impressed by Pavel Sulc at Viktoria Plzen, according to eFotbal.cz.
The Czechia news outlet reported via their website on 5 March that the 24-year-old has caught the attention of the Whites with his physicality.
Sulc has been in red-hot form for Plzen this season, bagging 12 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions so far.
The attacking midfielder has been so impressive that clubs in the Premier League and Bundesliga are circling around him, with Plzen ready for a ‘sensational’ transfer saga.
Apart from Leeds, Aston Villa and Tottenham are also interested in the Czechia international, having previously enquired about him.
Matches | Minutes | Goals | Assists | Yellow Cards |

Similarly, Manchester City have also sent scouts to watch Sulc in action as the race for the player heats up.
Plzen, though, are yet to receive a concrete offer for him, although they are prepared to sell him for around £6.7-8.4million.
Leeds prepare for life in Premier League
There is still some way to go before Leeds can clinch promotion, but they cannot be faulted for preparing for life in the Premier League.
Alternatively, Daniel Farke’s side will also be preparing for the possibility of staying in the Championship, having narrowly missed out on promotion last season.
This is why Leeds may be working with two budgets in mind ahead of the summer, and Sulc may be a part of the plan in the best-case scenario.
