Leeds strike loan agreement with unbeaten English club, Daniel Farke has eyes on teen who’s moved
Leeds saw a lot of squad turnover following their promotion to the Premier League.
49ers Enterprises invested heavily in the squad this summer, with potentially more to come in the future.
Daniel Farke needs a squad ready to survive the Premier League campaign, and he shifted a lot of players out this summer to accommodate new arrivals.
With a lot of focus on the first team, fans can be forgiven if Leeds’ youth team doesn’t get much attention, but there has been news regarding a promising youngster.

Highly-rated Leeds goalkeeper set for loan move
Leeds signed goalkeeper Rory Mahady to a new three-year deal in July this year, and the young shotstopper will now have a chance at some first-team football.
Leeds announced that Mahady will join National League side Scunthorpe on loan, with the Irons currently unbeaten to start the year.
It is a great chance for the 18-year-old to get exposure to men’s football for an extended period, with Farke sure to be keeping an eye on how he gets on.

Mahady made 17 appearances for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side last season in the Premier League 2.
He is a Scottish youth international, with the youngster making the matchday squad for the game against Sheffield United last March.
Mahady has realistic pathway to first-team football at Elland Road for
Leeds United have had trouble in the goalkeeping department for quite some time now.
Illan Meslier’s days look numbered at Elland Road, and Karl Darlow is out of contract at the end of the season.
Lucas Perri was brought in to be the first-choice goalkeeper for Leeds, but he has already suffered from injury troubles this campaign.

Mahady is highly thought of at Leeds and clearly has a bright future ahead of him, with the loan at Scunthorpe going to a lot for his development.
Mahady clearly has a long way to go in his development, but there could be a realistic path to first-team football soon enough.
