Report: Leeds sign Luca Thomas from Man City
Leeds United have added 16-year-old winger Luca Thomas from Manchester City to their Academy, according to the ultra-reliable LUFC Youth Twitter account.
The 16-year-old joins on a two-year scholarship deal and will be part of the 2021/22 scholar intake.
Cuba Cline, who joined from Liverpool in February, will also be part of the same youth intake.
Cline had been at Liverpool for six years and has represented England at U15 level.

The focus on youth at Leeds is stronger than it’s ever been at the moment and the club must be an exciting destination for young players.

Leeds Under 23s won Premier League Two Division Two this year at their first attempt and will contest the top-flight next season against sides like Man City.
Thomas will now have his sights set on reaching the Under-23s and it’s brilliant that we’re attracting young talent from big six clubs.
He’ll go through the Under-18s first, where he’ll hook up with players who are straddling both sides, like Charlie Allen.
It is good to see us paying close attention to the youth squads and by landing talented young players now we are caring for the club long-term.
There have not been too many academy graduates this season but Crysencio Summerville, Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood, among others, have shown they will surely play a first-team role soon.
All three have made the bench in the Premier League and can’t be too far off making their debuts.
We have plenty to be optimistic about and hopefully Thomas is the next quality youngster to join our ranks.
