Leeds ready Jorgen Strand Larsen plan as Wolves open to exit
Leeds United will have to get creative to finance a deal for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Strand Larsen is a target for Leeds, who are seeking an option to challenge Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha.
Leeds would have to be careful and stick within the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, so a deal for the 25-year-old may be complicated.
However, the Elland Road side may have worked out a way that they can sign the Norwegian attacker from the relegation favourites.

How Leeds plan to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen
Daniel Farke is keen on a new forward, and Strand Larsen has been prominently linked to the Whites in recent days.
A report from TEAMtalk on 21 January claims that the LS11 outfit have a plan on how to structure a deal for the young striker.
It states that the Peacocks would like to sign the 24-cap international on a loan-to-buy deal, so they can stay within the PSR margins.
Wolves are understood to be open to a sale, but they want to receive their £40million valuation for the frontman.
What would Strand Larsen bring to Leeds?
Strand Larsen set to the top-flight of English football on fire in his first season, notching 14 goals in 35 appearances.
He adapted to the game very quickly, but he has struggled to find the same kind of momentum this time around, with just one goal in 20 matches.
However, that may be because the Old Gold are one of the worst teams in the history of the division and do not have the quality needed, whereas Leeds do.
| Stats | Calvert-Lewin | Nmecha | Strand-Larsen |
| Goals | 9 | 5 | 1 |
| Shots per 90 | 2.69 | 2.81 | 1.34 |
| Shots on target per 90 | 1.22 | 1.63 | 0.47 |
| Expected goals per 90 | 0.52 | 0.73 | 0.19 |
| Chances created per 90 | 0.83 | 0.30 | 0.40 |
Strand Larsen boasts excellent finishing ability, aerial ability and can also hold-up the ball for his teammates, and profiles similarly to Calvert-Lewin and Nmecha.
That means that the Whites would not have to completely change their system to fit him in, which makes him an ideal addition to the Yorkshire side’s ranks.
It remains to be seen, whether the newly-promoted side can figure out the finances, and come up with a proposal that convinces Rob Edwards’ side to let go of their in-demand star.
The latest update is encouraging though, as they clearly want to get rid, and the 49ers Enterprises are trying to find a compromise that allows the Whites to sign him.
