Leeds now want to sign Dutch wonderkid after MOTM display v Man United, talks held
Leeds are eyeing a move for a player who stunned in Europe against Man United.
Leeds United have a lot of work to do after sealing promotion back to the Premier League, and much of that comes down to the summer transfer window.
Daniel Farke’s side have already been linked with a whole host of players in the last few days, and it is imperative that they recruit well.
While experience will be crucial to their hopes of survival, the injection of young quality will also be looked at, amid links to a Dutch midfielder.

AZ midfielder linked with Elland Road switch
Leeds have a huge summer of recruitment ahead of them, and according to a report from Voetbalzone (24 April), the Whites are eying a move for Kasper Boogard.
The 19-year-old AZ midfielder won Man of the Match for his side in the U19’s UEFA Youth League encounter with Manchester United back in November, with the Dutch outfit winning 2-1.
Jong AZ Alkmaar | Appearances | Starts | Minutes played |
Boogard | 16 | 10 | 897 |
Boogard’s contract is expiring in Holland at the end of the current campaign, with German outfit HSV also said to hold an interest.
The report adds that Boogard would prefer to extend his stay in Alkmaar, and has already held talks about doing so, but the prospect of Premier League football may be enough to entice him to make the move to Elland Road.

Leeds need to make the right calls this summer
Before any recruitment plans are made, Leeds need to determine whether they will stick or twist with Farke, with the German said to be under pressure to keep his job.
The German has failed as a Premier League manager in the past, but if he remains with the Whites next season, he needs to be backed.
Leeds need to recruit well in the summer, otherwise they face the risk of an immediate relegation back to the Championship, a fate which awaits all three promoted sides from last season.
Focus for now will be on the final two Championship games, with the league title in sight.
