Leeds in pursuit of Eredivisie assist king who destroyed PSV Eindhoven
Leeds United have set their sights on signing an assist maestro from the Eredivisie this summer.
The Whites are in the business end of the season, looking to keep their place at the top of the Championship table and earn automatic promotion to the Premier League.
However, Leeds also have one eye on next season, with planning for the possibility of playing in the English top-flight underway.
Football finance expert Dan Plumley explained in March that the Elland Road outfit will be working with two different budgets in mind until their promotion status is confirmed.
Leeds could splurge over £100million on new transfers if they earn their way back into the Premier League, and it appears they have already identified one such signing.

Leeds set sights on signing Oliver Antman
Go Ahead Eagles attacker Oliver Antman has emerged as a transfer target for Leeds ahead of the summer.
The Whites are keeping close tabs on the Finland international as the season nears an end, according to EFL Analysis.
The news outlet reported via their website on Sunday (13 April) that the Elland Road outfit have been monitoring Antman for a few weeks now.
Matches | Starts | Minutes | Goals | Assists | Yellow Cards |
34 | 26 | 2551′ | 7 | 16 | 2 |
However, the West Yorkshire outfit face competition from promotion rivals Sheffield United, as well as Southampton and Leicester.
Antman is also wanted by clubs across Europe, with teams in Germany, France and Italy already laying the groundwork to snap him up.

Elland Road advantage in Antman race emerges
Antman has garnered attention from clubs across Europe after bagging 16 assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for Go Ahead Eagles this season.
The 23-year-old also put PSV Eindhoven to the sword on 1 March, scoring twice in his side’s 3-2 victory over them at home.
However, Leeds may have an advantage in the race to sign Antman if they seal promotion.
Southampton have been confirmed to be relegated from the Premier League, while Leicester are also edging towards the same fate.
With Sheffield United dropping five points behind Leeds and Burnley, they may also not be in the Premier League next term.
