Leeds in pole position for ‘exceptional’ Solomon agreement after what expert read
Manor Solomon has played a major role in Leeds United’s push for Premier League promotion and could end up staying at Elland Road permanently.
The Israel international has been in fine form for the West Yorkshire outfit this season and has formed a dynamic partnership with Dan James.
Due to Solomon’s recent form, the attacker has been linked with several clubs ahead of the summer transfer window with Premier League sides such as Everton and Leicester among those linked with an interest.

Leeds have advantage for permanent Solomon transfer
Leeds will no doubt do all they can to land Solomon from Tottenham in the summer if they do end up earning promotion to the Premier League.
According to Don Goodman, who was speaking to Football League World (11 March), the Whites have an advantage over any of his other potential suitors regarding a permanent move for the attacker.
Team | Position | Points |
Leeds United | 1st | 76 |
Sheffield United | 2nd | 76 |
Burnley | 3rd | 74 |
Sunderland | 4th | 68 |
“I think Manor Solomon has been exceptional, so I’m not surprised there are other Premier League clubs sniffing around him,” he said.
“The fact he’s become a regular and held down a position after overcoming injury when Leeds have so much talent available in those wide areas is testament to how well he’s done and how highly Daniel Farke rates him.
“I do think Leeds have the advantage over the others as I’ve read quotes saying that he’s loving life in the city of Leeds and at the football club, while feeling very settled there, so with all that being said, provided Leeds get to the Premier League, he will sign permanently for them in the summer.”

Solomon could help guarantee Leeds their Premier League survival
With the Whites still at the top of the Championship table, their eyes will be centred on earning promotion to the Premier League.
They’ve been one of the most dominant forces in the second-tier this season and despite their slip-up against Portsmouth on Sunday, they look to be one of the best teams in the division.
Securing Solomon’s services on a permanent basis could be one of the best moves that Farke makes in the summer with the attacker clearly already playing at Premier League standard.
Granted, there are plenty of areas within Leeds’ set-up that could do with upgrading but if they can secure the services of Solomon, it could help their chances of staying up massively.
The attacker has been involved with 15 goals across all competitions this term which is a hefty chunk of Leeds’ overall goals scored.
Not only does this show how key the attacker is to the way things work within Farke’s squad but it also outlines how essential he is to the team itself.
Of course, a fair few more players will need to be brought through the Elland Road doors in order for them to stand a chance of staying up next season.
However, with players such as Kalvin Phillips already being linked with a return, things are starting to look brighter in West Yorkshire.
