Leeds in hunt to sign Rangers forward Stevens as contract talks fail
Leeds United are keeping track of Archie Stevens after failing to agree a new deal at Rangers, according to Rangers News.
The online outlet reported on 23 January that the 19-year-old is likely to leave Ibrox at the end of his contract after failing to agree terms.
The Whites showed an interest in the winger last year and have kept up with his progress ever since with a move possible before the end of January if the right club comes along.

There has been a history of positive youth development at Elland Road and that could be set to continue if the teen comes in from Govan.
It appears that his time in the Scottish Premiership is over given his reluctance to sign a new contract which could be the perfect opportunity for Leeds.
If the Whites can offer the teenager a deal that has assurances of first-team football in the future, he may be tempted by a switch to Elland Road.
With Daniel Farke’s side sitting top of the Championship, there is no doubt that the Yorkshire-based club are an attractive prospect right now.

The German head coach has previous for working with young players, getting the best out of Archie Gray last season and the likes of Ben Godfrey and Max Aarons during his time at Norwich City.
This could prove to be enough to temp Stevens away from Rangers to Elland Road, potentially before the end of the winter transfer window.
