Leeds United fans are drooling over a report by Phil Hay that claims the Whites could make up to five new signings in the summer transfer window.
According to The Athletic journalist, the Whites will look to move on a “small section of the Championship old guard” as they complete their transformation into a top Premier League club.
It is understood that Tyler Roberts is one of the players who faces an uncertain future in West Yorkshire as Leeds continue their upward trajectory.
Leeds could make up to five signings this summer and for the first time they'll move on from a small section of the Championship old guard.
For fringe players like Tyler Roberts these are key months in the fight to remain part of an exhilarating project: https://t.co/qxgocBewCp

Marcelo Bielsa has completely transformed Leeds in his two and a half seasons at Elland Road with the Whites now sitting in the top half of the Premier League table.
Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta deserve massive credit for their work at the club, as do the players, who performed above and beyond to get United back into the top-flight.
But admittedly, there are some players who can be upgraded upon and that means there are likely to be a lot of ins and outs in the summer.
Hay reports there could be as many as five new additions to the senior squad and that has a lot of Leeds fans talking on Twitter.
One has urged the club to “announce Champions League” football amid Hay’s update while another wants to see them re-ignite their interest in Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
5 would be perfect. 2 mids, 1 left back, 1 winger, 1 goalie. Not only is that serviceable but you'll have drastically improved the skill floor. #LUFC https://t.co/j3TLGkQTz2

If it is 5 then 5 quality signings who could all walk into the starting 11 and will take us to another level which is needed to keep progressing ππ»

Gamble every penny we have on signing Haaland and donβt worry about any other position- him coming off of bench for 10 mins when Bamford is tired will win us the league

We’re expecting a big summer at Elland Road based on this massive update from Hay.
Five new, top-class players would incredible, especially if all of them are signed to get into Bielsa’s starting line-up.
There are plenty of positions that could do with strengthening, especially in the centre of the midfield and left-back so they are likely to be priorities but Orta has been working hard on targets for a while now and he’s bound to have come up with some juicy options for Bielsa to choose from.
In other Leeds United news, Hay’s offered a warning about Raphinha’s future at Leeds after his masterclass against Southampton.
