Kristensen to jet out to USA on Monday as he quits Leeds United
Rasmus Kristensen could fly to the USA with Eintracht Frankfurt on Monday with a transfer from Leeds United close, according to Hit Radio FFH.
The German radio station reported on 18 July that the Denmark international had landed in Germany to complete a move to the Bundesliga.
A deal worth £12.6 million has been agreed and now the 27-year-old could join the Frankfurt training camp in America on Monday.
Rasmus Kristensen set for Leeds United departure
With Kristensen spending last season away from Elland Road, Daniel Farke won’t be missing the full-back ahead of the upcoming season.
This is in similar circumstances to Diego Llorente who has also departed in a move to join Real Betis in La Liga earlier in the window.
Selling the ex-Roma loanees for positive transfer fees will certainly benefit the Whites in the transfer market moving forward.
Add to this the funds that have come in from selling Archie Gray, Leeds have to go out and make some positive additions to their squad.
So far Joe Rodon is the only star that money has been spent on. There are no complaints with that signing, the Welshman is an excellent signing.

With Joe Rothwell coming in on loan and Alex Cairns on a free transfer, Farke hasn’t had much freedom in the market so far.
Selling Kristensen to Frankfurt makes sense for all parties if the Dane doesn’t want to play Championship football.
