Kai Morrall Liverpool compensation update emerges as Leeds to complete transfer
Liverpool forward Kai Morrall is leaving Anfield by mutual consent to join Leeds United.
The 15-year-old has been one of the most promising attacking talents in Kirkby and will now continue his development at Thorp Arch.
Morrall has been snapped up at Elland Road after spending eight years at the Merseyside outfit and playing for the Under-16s this season.
Daniel Farke has shown with Harry Gray that he isn’t afraid to call talented youngsters into the first-team squad, and the former Liverpool ace will surely be hoping for similar opportunities in LS11.

Leeds United don’t have to pay compensation for Kai Morrall move from Liverpool
Morrall believes he’ll have a better pathway to first-team football at Leeds, according to the Daily Mail.
The news outlet reports on 16 December that the prospect of moving to Elland Road was seen as a good opportunity on all sides.
Morrall has left the Reds on amicable terms, and his mutual agreement with them to depart means that the West Yorkshire outfit aren’t required to pay compensation.
The youngster is set to join the Prolific Sports Group agency, which represents the likes of Liverpool defender Jeremie Frimpong.
It will be interesting to see whether the forward is good enough to play regularly for the Whites’ Under-18 or Under-21 squad immediately after moving.
Three Elland Road wonderkids to look out for
Harry Gray isn’t the only Leeds wonderkid who has made a mark, with Rory Mahady and Rhys Chadwick-Chaplin worth keeping an eye on.
Mahady is a Scottish youth international, with the goalkeeper recently signing a new three-year deal at Thorp Arch.
Chadwick-Chaplin could potentially be the next Kalvin Phillips, with the defensive midfielder seen as one of the gems in the youth team.
Morrall will hope to make an immediate impact at the West Yorkshire outfit and possibly make his way into the first team in the coming years.
