Journalist shares when Leeds United are likely to launch bid for Wolves star Adama Traore
Eurosport journalist Dean Jones believes Leeds United will have to wait until the summer at least if they want to sign Wolves winger Adama Traore.
Traore, 25, has been heavily linked with a move to Elland Road in the past but the Spanish speed merchant has so far stayed put at Molineux.
Leeds budget won’t be able to stretch to Traore or other stars of tha calibre, according to Jones.

Speaking on ‘Touchline Talk’ in a video shared on the Oddschanger Twitter account (10 December), Jones said: “They’ve got to map out how they can attack the window with their current budget, is it going to be loans, is it going to be players with contracts expiring?
“They can’t go after, say, Adama Traore, that’s further down the road and might be in the summer or beyond.”

Priorities
A winger is the last position Marcelo Bielsa needs to strengthen in at this point, even if he had unlimited funds at his disposal.
The Argentine signed Dan James from Manchester United on August deadline day to add to the permanent capture of Manchester City loan star Jack Harrison.
Raphinha, meanwhile, is top dog at Elland Road and is a mainstay of the starting XI.
Instead, Bielsa needs to sign a centre-forward and a centre-midfielder, or two.
The Whites even look stretched at centre-back now with Liam Cooper’s recent injury adding to the continued absence of Robin Koch this season.
Arrivals are needed in January but, as suggested by Jones, it may be difficult for Leeds to make any major moves, and they may have to get creative in order to strengthen the side.
Leeds fans wait with bated breath as recent injuries threaten to take their toll on the squad.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are readying a January bid to sign this 2021 title-winner who top-scored in a major club comp this year.
