Leeds United reportedly do not have a sell-on clause attached to the deal involving Barcelona and Raphinha over the summer.

Amid the Brazilian's links with a return to England, with Premier League leaders Arsenal mooted to be keen, Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth was asked about any clauses in the transfer.

Should Raphinha join Arsenal or any other club, the Whites are not entitled to get any money as all of it was paid upfront when he moved to the Camp Nou.

Smyth wrote, "In a word, no. Leeds received the money for the Brazilian winger up front. Although a departure so soon into his time with the LaLiga giants appears highly unlikely, in any case the YEP can confirm that Leeds don't have a sell-on clause."

Got decent money

Even though Leeds do not have a sell-on clause in this deal, there will be no hard feelings over the player's exit in the summer.

It was clear for a while that Barcelona were his dream destination and he snubbed advances from Arsenal and Chelsea in order to join them.

It's fair to say that his transfer hasn't worked out as many thought that it would, but it will be really surprising if Xavi decides to part ways after just one season.

Leeds United

Seeing the Brazilian back in the Premier League will certainly delight most Leeds fans and they'll give him a warm reception at Elland Road.

It'll be interesting to see how he fares if he does end up moving to Arsenal as they've already got two established players on either flank.

We're hoping that he manages to turn his career around as soon as possible as he's an extremely talented player and deserves to be lauded for it.
