Joel Piroe sends emotional goodbye message as Leeds United exit confirmed
Leeds United forward Joel Piroe has penned an emotional goodbye message to Glen Kamara after the midfielder completed his move to Stade Rennais.
The Whites confirmed via their official website (16 July) that Kamara had completed a transfer to the French club.
He took to his personal Instagram account to say goodbye to supporters at Elland Road on Tuesday (16 July).
And among the many comments was Piroe, who wrote, “Will miss you brother and all the best”.

Kamara spent just one season at Elland Road, but it is clear that he made quite an impact during his short time with the club.
Piroe will clearly miss the 28-year-old a great deal. As a result, it is safe to assume that there will be many other players in the dressing room who will be sad to see the back of Kamara.
Supporters at Elland Road will no doubt feel frustrated too. Kamara enjoyed a fairly impressive debut season for the Whites, and he would have therefore been a useful asset for Daniel Farke next season.
However, now that it has been confirmed that he has left the club, it is time for Farke and his players to look forward.
Leeds were unable to achieve promotion to the Premier League last season. As a result, there was always bound to be plenty of change at Elland Road.

Kamara joins Archie Gray through the exit door, and fans will be hopeful that there aren’t too many more high-profile departures on the cards.
