Jamie Shackleton exit news emerges at Leeds United
Jamie Shackleton is considered “done” at Leeds United, according to LeedsLive.
The news publication reported online (3 August) that the 23-year-old’s future looks set to lie elsewhere as he enters the final 12 months of his contract with the Whites.
Since coming through the ranks at Thorpe Arch the central midfielder has struggled to impress and spent time out on loan away from Elland Road. Although, Daniel Farke has offered the player opportunities during pre-season.

Shackleton will need to continue to impress over the next month or so if he is to avoid a loan away. On the other hand, the player himself might prefer a switch and may not be willing to stick around if he is not starting regularly.
Times up
Last year Shackleton spent the campaign on loan with Millwall at The Den as they fought for promotion from the Championship, narrowly missing out on the play-off places on the final day of the season.
He was a regular for the Lions, making 36 appearances in the league as well as starting their third-round FA Cup defeat against Sheffield United.

While he has struggled to lock down a place at the club in previous seasons, that was in the Premier League, and the Championship is a whole different story.
Considering Shackleton has some experience from England’s second division after last season, Farke might be thinking that the player would be useful to keep around as they look to navigate a path to promotion.
Letting Shackleton leave might therefore not be the best idea and it will be interesting to see how this situation develops over the coming weeks up until the transfer window slams shut.
In other Leeds United news, a Premier League club is considering a move for Tyler Adams.
