Jack Harrison transfer twist as player reveals new Leeds United demand
Jack Harrison’s move from Leeds United to Fiorentina may not be as advanced as expected.
Harrison was expected to complete a loan exit from Leeds, with an £8.6million option to buy reported to be included in the deal.
However, it seems like the Elland Road outfit may have moved the goalposts ahead of a potential move for the wantaway star.
He has not been featured regularly this season under Daniel Farke, and an exit is the best move for all parties, but it may not be so simple.

What is the new Leeds demand for Jack Harrison exit?
Fiorentina also want to sign Jaka Bijol from Leeds, but they have not gotten their move for Harrison over the line yet.
Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari claimed on 14 January that Harrison‘s side have said that the Whites are asking for a loan with an obligation of £15m.
When someone replied to his report asking whether a deal was already done, he said: “If they accept these conditions, it’s a done deal.”
Why Leeds fans will not care how much they get for Harrison
Ultimately, Peacocks supporters just want the 29-year-old off their books, as there has been a lot of controversy over him in the past.
Harrison received loud jeers from his own fans when he came on in the pre-season clash with AC Milan, as a result of the tension.
The animosity is due to the fact that many feel like the winger bolted on the club twice, when they were relegated from the Premier League and then again when they did not win promotion back to the top-flight.
He spent both of those campaigns with Everton, and his mother only increased the tension with a comment she made while he was there.
In the Toffees’ clash with Burnley in December 2023, a fan urged her son not to go back to the Yorkshire club, and Harrison’s mum said: “[Expletive] hope not.”
While it was a tongue-in-cheek comment, it burned many bridges with supporters that still remained for the former New York City FC star in LS11.
They will not care whether they get nearly £9m or £15m, as long as he is no longer part of their club and there is a permanent option.
