Jack Harrison loan exit from Leeds United sealed as permanent Everton update emerges
Jack Harrison’s Leeds United exit to Everton on loan does not have a permanent option included in the deal, Fabrizio Romano reports.
According to the Italian journalist on Twitter (24 June) the Whites winger’s move has been signed and “sealed” while the Toffees do have an eye on making the move permanent in the future.
The Englishman rejoins Sean Dyche’s squad thanks to Leeds failing to secure Premier League promotion, having also spent last season on loan at Goodison Park.
Romano wrote: “Jack Harrison, new Everton player as all docs are now signed — here we go confirmed.
“New exclusive detail: it’s loan move from Leeds United, no buy option… but with a view to make it permanent in due course, it’s concrete possibility. Deal sealed.”

In footballing terms it may be a disappointment for Harrison to be leaving again but in reality it was always on the cards this summer one way or another.
The main problem for Daniel Farke and the Elland Road hierarchy is that his loan-exit clause was still live thanks to the club staying in the second tier, meaning there will be no transfer fee during the current window.
It would have been unlikely for the 27-year-old to return to the fold even if the Whites had gone up for next season, although Willy Gnonto’s reintegration last term and the expectation that Brenden Aaronson is on the way back in shows it wouldn’t have been impossible.
Instead the door was left open for the Toffees to address a position of need at no cost and Leeds United essentially had no say in the matter, although they are expected to cover his full wages.
The focus has so far very much been on who won’t be playing for Farke next term, with the expectation that the likes of Crysencio Summerville will be sold still to be made into a reality.
But fans of the club will be anxious to see how the squad will be revamped in order to go one better next term and bounce back from the play off final defeat to Southampton.
In other Leeds United news, a long-term contract offer has emerged to a player that the Whites have been interested in signing for months.
