Jack Harrison gamble taken as £8.6m Leeds United exit agreement sorted
Jack Harrison is now set to leave Leeds United.
Harrison was linked with a Leeds exit in the early days of the January transfer window, and now that is ready to go through.
Daniel Farke seems willing to let the winger go, even after he started for Leeds in the 2-1 victory against Derby County on Sunday.
There was nothing special about his performance as Harrison failed to impress at Derby despite featuring across the full 90 minutes.
Harrison now looks to have found a route out of Elland Road, with a European outfit set to take a chance on the Englishman this winter.

Jack Harrison set to join Fiorentina
Fiorentina have emerged as the landing destination for Harrison after a difficult campaign after his Yorkshire return in the summer.
After two years on loan at Everton, his homecoming was certainly controversial in LS11, but it looks set to come to an end this month.
The Serie A side have already brought in Manor Solomon, with the ex-Leeds loanee set to be joined by the ex-New York City FC man.
Sky Sports Italy journalist Luca Cilli reported on Tuesday that Fiorentina have completed a deal to sign Harrison on a season-long loan.
The reporter described the move as “a gamble that the management has decided to bet on” with I Viola, largely due to the 29-year-old’s ability to play on both wings.
Leeds United to receive £8.6m for Harrison in the summer
There is no real risk in Farke letting the wide man go, given he has only featured across 263 Premier League minutes this campaign.
It looks as if the financial benefits of his exit are going to outweigh what he offers on the pitch, with Fabrizio Romano reporting his loan deal will feature an £8.6million buy clause.
The Englishman has the chance to feature regularly in Serie A and help Paolo Vanoli’s side get away from their spot in the relegation zone.
It will be interesting to see how Harrison performs in Italy and whether a permanent move to Florence will be activated in the summer.
