Illan Meslier’s future resolved as official transfer announcement made, loan-to-buy agreed
Illan Meslier has finally had his future confirmed by actions away from Leeds United.
Meslier has been strongly linked with a Leeds exit in recent weeks, with his future seemingly lying away from Elland Road.
The keeper is yet to play a single minute this campaign as Daniel Farke has opted to utilise Karl Darlow and Lucas Perri, who has also faced Leeds exit rumours.
There was a feeling that Meslier could depart Leeds and join Besiktas after the window closed, with business continuing in Turkyie.
Meslier has now learned where he will spend the rest of the campaign, with a transfer now confirmed at Vodafone Park.

Besitkas confirm new goalkeeper signing
Besiktas reignited their interest in Meslier recently after an initial deal went cold after interest in the first weeks of the winter market.
The Super Lig giants came back in for the Frenchman and were keen to agree a move before their window ended on Friday.
Unfortunately for Meslier, the Black and Whites decided to pursue a different option and brought in Devis Vasquez from Roma instead.
The Turkish side confirmed the deal on social media, revealing that an agreement had been struck with the Italians to sign the Colombian on loan.
Besiktas have an option to buy the 27-year-old at the end of the season, all while Meslier remains at Elland Road for the campaign.
Illan Meslier now doomed at Leeds United
It has already been a long and difficult campaign for the keeper in LS11, especially after being the number one for so long this campaign.
To go from a Championship regular last season to today is wild, with Meslier yet to make a single appearance this season.

That is only likely continue across the rest of his contract, as Farke could continue to limit his availability until the summer.
A move to Besiktas was a last opportunity to save his season, but now his morale is likely to be extremely low, especially with there seemingly being no light at the end of the tunnel.
Meslier is now stuck where he is, but has many months now to find a club ready for next year with the hope of finally playing football.
