Jean-Matteo Bahoya has become somewhat of a huge talking point at Leeds United.

Despite only playing three minutes of action at Elland Road, the fans are screaming for more.

Daniel Farke has warned caution with the young winger, who is currently away with France under-21s.

Bahoya signed from Eintracht Frankfurt on deadline day on an initial loan, with an obligation to buy included.

Despite that, he only just made his short debut against Crystal Palace before the international break.

And now, more has been revealed about his transfer details.

What will force Leeds to sign Bahoya permanently?

It seems like a foregone conclusion that this will happen.

BILD has reported in its print edition that Bahoya must make 10 competitive appearances to make the move permanent.

The German newspaper states on Saturday that once another nine appearances have been made, a £25.7million fee will be triggered.

A 15 per cent sell-on clause has also been included in the deal already.

What has Daniel Farke said about Bahoya?

Leeds fans have not been happy with his treatment so far, that has been made abudently clear.

Dan James and Brenden Aaronson have been preferred off the bench so far, and that has not gone down very well in games.

And when Bahoya was finally used, he was brought on for Gabriel Gudmundsson at left-wing back against Palace.

He did win one foul and looked silky on the ball in the one opportunity he got to make an impression.

Now, it's up to him to continue shining at Thorp Arch, although international duty has cut short his chance to impress Farke further during this break.

Farke did speak openly about the winger recently, stating that he needs to look after him before throwing him into the deep end of the Premier League.

That's because he was frequently on the bench at Frankfurt towards the end of last season, and rarely featured in pre-season.

Hopefully that treatment will pay off, but given he only needs to play nine more games in a season with 30-plus fixtures to come, it's a given.

This is a long-term plan for Bahoya, and it's all about Leeds getting it right, especially for that price.
