Graham Potter to disrupt Leeds United transfer plans amid Facundo Buonanotte update
Facundo Buonanotte has been linked with a move to Leeds United this summer.
Ten new arrivals have checked in at Elland Road so far, and Leeds are still looking to add several more before the window slams shut on 1 September.
Attacking arrivals are going to be the priority, with Leeds having been linked with Buonanotte at Brighton earlier in the window.
Now, a new update has emerged on the Brighton forward’s future, and it seems as though Graham Potter could have a say.

Leeds lead race to sign Facundo Buonanotte
Signing a winger has been a priority for some time now, with several names mooted for a move to Elland Road.
Dilane Bakwa had been linked with a move to Leeds, though those rumours appear to have died down, with a new update on Buonanotte.

According to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo on X, Leeds and West Ham are leading the race to sign the Argentine forward.
The report adds that several other clubs have also registered an interest in the winger, though the Irons and the Whites are the “most determined” to secure a deal.
Leeds are in desperate need of a new winger in these next five days, and if Potter is to secure his arrival at West Ham, it would cause even more disruption to the plans at Elland Road.
Who is Facundo Buonanotte?
Buonanotte has not had the easiest time in England since moving from his home country back in 2022.
The 20-year-old spent the last campaign on loan at Leicester City, where he registered nine goal contributions in 35 appearances, before returning to Brighton.
Now, it seems as though the Seagulls have no plans for him in the Premier League, potentially opening the door for an exit.
Given his age and potential, he isn’t likely to come cheap, but it would be a very shrewd piece of business by Leeds if they pursue it.
