‘Gnonto done at Leeds United’ after £30m Facundo Buonanotte transfer priority
Facundo Buonanotte could make a switch from Brighton to Leeds United this summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old attacker was on loan at Leicester City last season, but despite some encouraging performances, he couldn’t help the Foxes avoid relegation.
Daniel Farke’s team have won the Championship title and will end their two-year absence from top-flight football in the upcoming campaign.
Willy Gnonto has struggled for game time at Elland Road in recent months, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him demand an exit in the coming weeks.

Leeds United confident of Buonanotte transfer as Gnonto set to be sold
Leeds are confident of signing Buonanotte from Brighton this summer, according to Fichajes.
The news outlet reports (15 June) that the Whites are interested in the Argentina international and have made him one of their priorities at Elland Road.

It’s been claimed that the Seagulls could ask for around £30million, including add-ons, to sell the 20-year-old, but the West Yorkshire outfit are confident of getting a deal over the line.
If the attacking midfielder, who can also play on the right wing, signs for the Peacocks, Gnonto may be done for under Farke, as it could become even harder to get regular game time.

Farke will sell Gnonto if Buonanotte transfer is pulled off at Elland Road
Farke doesn’t seem to have faith in Gnonto, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the German manager sanction his sale if a replacement is signed.
With Buonanotte’s prospective addition, the Italian youngster will seemingly be surplus to requirements at Elland Road, and the Whites could potentially decide to cash in on him.
The 20-year-old Argentina international has shown immense potential over the years, and Farke feels like the right manager to get the best out of him.
Leeds fans expect 49ers Enterprises to invest heavily this summer, but sales will arguably be needed to sanction multiple transfers.
The Whites already have several transfer priorities to complete in the coming weeks, with a new goalkeeper, defender and midfielder undoubtedly needed.
Gnonto has mostly played on the right wing, and with Dan James already in that position, it wouldn’t make sense to keep him if Buonanotte arrives.
The West Yorkshire outfit may be confident of getting a decent sum for the 21-year-old Italian ace, which could fund a move for the Brighton prospect.
