Frankfurt hope negotiations with Leeds United for Robin Koch come an end in next 48 hours
Frankfurt are hopeful of completing negotiations for Leeds ace Robin Koch over the next 48 hours as he remains top of their list, according to BILD.
The German defender is keen to leave Elland Road after their relegation to the Championship, with a return to the Bundesliga on the cards as he looks to break into the national team squad ahead of Euro 2024.
Bayer Leverkusen are also interested, while Napoli are said to have entered the race too, but Frankfurt want to get a deal done this weekend and are hopeful they can strike a deal with the Whites and the player.

No rush
As much as it’s important that Leeds get their transfer business done quickly this summer, the exits are less important if they’re not for large fees.
Koch is entering the final 12 months of his contract at the club so any deal to take him away from Elland Road is likely to be on the cheaper side, which means it’s important that we get the absolute best deal possible.
If that means that we need to drag negotiations out a little bit longer to get exactly what we want, or to encourage more teams to enter the race then so be it.

Our demands will be clear to whoever wants to sign him and it’s up to them to pay up or offer an alternative that suits us in order to beat the competition.
If he ends up staying then it means we have a top player in the Championship because nobody has made an acceptable offer, and he will have to just get on with it.
