Fabrizio Romano shares Luis Sinisterra image holding new shirt as Leeds United deal done
Luis Sinisterra has been pictured after finalising his exit from Leeds United, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano.
Having previously reported that the move was set to be announced, the Itallian journalist has now shared an image via his official X account (9 February) which shows the 24-year-old, his family and his agent all posing with the Bournemouth shirt.
The photo was taken after Sinisterra had signed his contract as a permanent Bournemouth player in a deal which will see Leeds receive £20million.
Leeds officially announced via X (9 February) that the player had departed Elland Road, writing, “Luis Sinisterra has joined Bournemouth in a permanent deal”.
Leeds United glad to say goodbye to Sinisterra
It is clear that the relationship between Leeds and Sinisterra had soured quite considerably.
There was no emotion in the Whites’ announcement that Sinisterra had left the club, with the absence of a thank you or good luck message incredibly telling. It was direct and to the point and a clear sign that Sinisterra will not be missed.
In addition, the responses are full of Leeds supporters showing very little care that the forward has now made his move to the south coast permanent
Receiving £20million will be an added bonus for Daniel Farke, with the German likely already thinking about how that money can be spent in the summer.
Sinisterra scored eight goals and provided one assist across 26 appearances during his short stay in West Yorkshire.
Following his controversial deadline-day exit, there seemed no way back for the player at the club and everyone involved will probably breathe a sigh of relief now that the saga has concluded.
In other Leeds United news, a five per cent clause has emerged in Sinisterra’s transfer.
