Fabrizio Romano: Raphinha is one to watch in summer transfer window

Fabrizio Romano has named Leeds United winger Raphinha as one to watch ahead of the summer transfer window next year.

The superstars’ agent, Deco, spoke out this week and confirmed the interest in his client, including the likes of Liverpool.

Romano shared that the Whites still have no plans to sell their star man, but that many clubs have him on their list ahead of next summer.

Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast this week, Romano shared what looks like an ominous update on the winger.

“Raphinha we talk about the Leeds player,” he said. “The Brazilian one of Leeds has been incredible with the national team.

“At the moment with Leeds, it’s not an easy moment. It’s true that Liverpool wanted him as his agent revealed, but Leeds had no plans to sell him.

“He will be a player to watch next summer, many clubs have Raphinha’s name on their list, not just Liverpool.”

Ominous.

The interest appears to be growing in Raphinha with each passing week.

We have all been left delighted with his emergence on the international stage with Brazil, but it brought more eyes than we needed.

As time passes, fans will start to accept that Raphinha is bound to seal a major move away from Elland Road to chase consistent European football.

Thankfully, his long-term deal will mean that Leeds will pocket a huge profit for his services should it happen, and that will need to be pumped back into the squad effectively.

Raphinha is here to stay for now, and we can’t wait to watch him all season long and who knows? Could a big push for Europe next season with major investment of our own in the summer tempt him to stay? Fingers crossed.
