Every Leeds player who faces being sold by Daniel Farke in January transfer window

Leeds United selling players in January is not a possibility; it’s almost a certainty.

The 49ers will have to balance the books with sales this month, as the only way that Leeds can splash the cash on new signings is if they sell some of their players.

New additions are crucial to the Whites’ hopes of Premier League survival, but Daniel Farke will not have a problem gathering interest for some of his men in particular.

With that being said, MOT Leeds News takes a look at every single player who Farke and the 49ers could let go in the January transfer window.

Illan Meslier one of many who could leave Leeds permanently

Jack Harrison has been tipped for a move to Valencia in recent days, with Carlos Corberan keen to capture another Leeds star after Largie Ramazani.

The winger has only been given rare opportunities by Farke this season due to injuries and has failed to make an impression when he has played.

Ilan Meslier is another player who has fallen down the pecking order at LS11, with the Leeds boss’ full trust in current number one, Lucas Perri.

The French keeper has gained the attention of both AC and Inter Milan before the January transfer window.

Joel Piroe’s Elland Road exit seems sensible and fair at this point, as the Dutch striker deserves a chance to play first-team football.

Clubs in the Championship are said to be keen on signing the forward, and a permanent sale could see Leeds rake in a hefty fee.

Leeds could sanction loan exits for Harry Gray and others

Leeds made plenty of summer signings, and Sebastiaan Bornauw is one recent acquisition who has been unable to make a statement since arriving.

There have been suggestions that Bornauw could return to FC Koln on loan, as the Whites could be keen for their £5million man to get some much-needed game time in the second half of the season.

Harry Gray is Leeds’ young superstar, and was awarded a new contract lately for his promising performances in the youth ranks.

Leeds are reportedly open to letting Gray leave on loan in January, as the striker may be given the chance to impress at senior men’s level in the next few months.

Lastly, but certainly not least, Wilfried Gnonto has been linked with a move to Fiorentina on a loan-to-buy-deal but it’s not understood whether Leeds would consider a sale or not.

Considering Gnonto‘s age and Premier League experience, it may only make sense for the Whites to sanction a permanent sale for the Italian.

All in all, there will be plenty of opportunities for Leeds to make some cash in January and give Farke a great chance of bringing some top talent to Elland Road this month.
