Everton offer £32,000-a-week contract to Leeds United star Willy Gnonto as bid details emerge
Everton have offered Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto a bumper contract, according to Calcio Mercato Magazine.
The Italian news outlet reported online (17 July) that the Toffees have offered Gnonto a five-year deal worth £1.7million per year.
This would see the 19-year-old forward earning £32,000 per week if he was to make the switch to Goodison Park.

It was also stated in the report that Aston Villa are interested in the winger but would have to better Everton’s contract proposal.
Big-money
This would be an incredibly difficult proposal for the Italian international to turn down.
A chance to return to the Premier League and earn just over £30,000 a week at the age of 19 is a fantastic offer and Leeds might now face a fight if they wish to keep hold of the youngster.
After arriving at Elland Road last season the dynamic forward was one of the club’s standout performers and would often have fans in the stands on their feet. He is also the Italian national side’s youngest-ever goalscorer and is clearly an exciting talent.

There is no reason why he wouldn’t be able to deliver big in the Championship and keeping hold of him could be massive for The Whites.
However, with billionaire-owned Everton and Aston Villa now lurking it appears as if that could be a difficult thing to do.
This will be one to watch in the coming weeks.
