Eric Dier agrees terms after Leeds approach to sign ex-Tottenham star
Leeds United approached Eric Dier over a move in the summer transfer window.
Daniel Farke is looking to revamp his side after securing promotion back to the Premier League after two seasons out of the division.
The German is looking for players with top-flight experience with the battle for survival set to be a very difficult task for the Whites.
However, it appears that the former Tottenham man will not be joining the Elland Road outfit after a new development.

Dier set to snub Leeds as terms agreed
Dier is understood to have had plenty of interest from the English top tier, including from Leeds but he is set to turn down a potential return.
A report from TBR Football (30 April) claims that the Whites held talks with the ex-Spurs man’s entourage in recent weeks.
However, it states that the 31-year-old has agreed terms with AS Monaco ahead of a summer move to France.
Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich are also understood to have tried to keep the England international but the one-year offer with an option to extend was dismissed.

Leeds aiming in the right direction ahead of summer rebuild
Although it appears that they will not be signing Dier, the Peacocks are looking in the right places ahead of a huge summer.
The 49ers must back Farke to bring in the right calibre of player to ensure survival, which will be a tough task considering the fate of the newly promoted teams this season in the top tier.

Experienced Premier League players such as Dier and Sean Longstaff, who the Whites are reportedly targeting, would be brilliant additions to the squad.
The Yorkshire outfit cannot afford to take chances with unknown quantities, they must add top-quality, otherwise they will likely come straight back down.
There is a party atmosphere surrounding the club right now but that could well diminish if the window is a disappointing one, which leaves them in a vulnerable position.
The ambition that the Elland Road outfit are showing is an encouraging sign but it will mean very little if they fail to bring in the required quality.
