Eduard Spertsyan transfer back on as agent reveals all on deadline-busting Leeds United deal
Eduard Spertsyan’s move to Leeds United looks to be back on the cards.
The 49ers desperately need to add more attacking reinforcements to Daniel Farke’s squad before the transfer window closes at 7 pm on Monday.
Deals for the likes of Igor Paixao and Facundo Buonanotte have agonisingly collapsed as the Elland Road faithful began to become more anxious.
The same looked to be said for a potential move for Spertsyan, but recent reports suggest there could still be hope for Leeds.

Eduard Spertsyan to Leeds blockbuster deadline day deal a possibility
Spertsyan, 25, would represent a dramatic upgrade in the number ten role to the current options that Farke currently has at his disposal.
The Armenian has been tearing up the Russian Premier League for multiple seasons now, and Leeds will be hoping he can translate this form over to England.
- Spertsyan has scored 10 or more league goals in his last three seasons
- The attacking midfielder is already on four goals this season from his opening seven games
- Brenden Aaronson and Joel Piroe are evidently not good enough to start for Leeds regularly in the top flight as a number ten
Spertsyan’s move to the Whites looks to be back on the cards now after ArmenieFootball suggested that Leeds have just been handed a major boost in their hopes of signing the midfielder.
Spertsyan recently claimed he would be staying in Russia despite interest from Southampton, but this could be set to change.
The report claims that Leeds have been in negotiations with FK Krasnodar for his signature, and the player was unaware of this as he had just played in their fixture against CSKA Moscow on Sunday.
After his agent informed him of the interest, the player made it known that he was open to a move to the Premier League with Leeds.

Potential complications still remain for a potential deal
The report also suggests that whilst negotiations for Spertsyan continue for Leeds, there could be a potential barrier to the potential move, with the Whites struggling to send money to Russia.
At this stage of the window, the 49ers must find a way around this and get the deal over the line or risk further humiliation after being unable to secure another target.
Leeds’ Premier League campaign potentially hangs in the balance in the next few hours, and the Whites must act with urgency.
