Diego Llorente exit deal from Leeds United ‘all done’ as video footage emerges
Negotiations between Roma and Leeds United for the loan of Diego Llorente are complete, according to Pagine Romaniste.
The Italian outlet reported (29 June) that it is now just a matter of time until Llorente is back in Rome with the player eager to get back to his best.
Llorente spent the second half of last season on loan with Roma and will now return to play under Jose Mourinho once again next season. The Spaniard’s Instagram post (29 June) suggests he is ready to get going.

The £44,000 a week defender (Il Rominista, 18 June) posted a video of himself training, alongside the caption, “We continue to prepare for what’s to come.”
Ready
Llorente is clearly ready to make the switch back to Rome, as his Instagram post suggests.
The caption “what’s to come” is most likely referring to his return to the Serie A which seems all but a formality at this stage. Following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship, the 28-year-old is likely keen on making the switch permanent.
However, his wages are most likely holding up any chance of that becoming a reality at the moment.

His contract runs until 2026 after he signed a new deal with the club at the end of last year (Leeds United, 23 December) just a matter of weeks before he was sent out on loan.
While his future remains unclear his social media activity would suggest that he is excited about the prospect of leaving Elland Road.
Relegation to the Championship might make his stay difficult and if the Whites aren’t instantly promoted back to the Premier League similar conversations may be had this time next year.
In other Leeds United news, the club could rival Leicester for the signing of a Premier League star.
