Derby line up Leeds forward agreement with January transfer window on verge of opening
Derby County have been linked with a move for Leeds United youngster Harry Gray ahead of the winter transfer window.
The Whites could be set for a busy January, with Valencia keeping an eye on Jack Harrison’s situation with 1 January around the corner.
Fiorentina are also keeping tabs on Wilfried Gnonto, with the Italian club looking to turn things around as they sit at the bottom of the Serie A table.
Other players like Joel Piroe and Sebastiaan Bornauw are struggling for minutes at the West Yorkshire outfit and may demand an exit, and Gray could possibly be part of the outgoings in the coming days.

Harry Gray loan deal eyed at Leeds United
Derby are interested in taking Gray on loan from Leeds, according to the Daily Mail.
The news outlet reports on 31 December that the 17-year-old could leave Elland Road temporarily to gain experience elsewhere.
Barnsley are another team associated with the exciting English striker, who has scored 10 goals for the Whites Under-21 team this season.
Manchester City have been tracking Gray, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the young prospect.
The centre-forward has made the bench on one occasion this season in the Premier League, having made his debut in April last season, coming on as an 86th-minute substitute in place of Brenden Aaronson in the 6-0 Championship win over Stoke City.
What has Daniel Farke said about sending Harry Gray on loan?
Leeds aren’t against sending Gray on loan, and Farke may have hinted at the youngster’s exit.
Speaking in his pre-Liverpool press conference on 30 December, the German manager said, “There is nothing close for any of the first-team players. If there is a younger player, a loan makes sense, but nothing from the first-team group.”
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the centre-forward further his development elsewhere and gain valuable game-time in the Championship.
Gray’s situation at the Whites will surely be one to watch closely as the transfer window opens soon.
