Dejan Ljubicic really wants to join Leeds United after transfer developments
FC Koln midfielder Dejan Ljubicic really wants to join Leeds United before August 30, according to BILD.
The German newspaper has reported in its print edition [20 August, pg 10] that Daniel Farke is desperate to get back to the Premier League with new transfers.
Leeds have already made a £3.4million offer for the midfielder, but that was too low and rejected with another offer potentially making Koln weak due to the power of Red Bull and the 49ers.
Dejan Ljubicic to join Leeds United
After the sales of Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray, Glen Kamara and Georginio Rutter, reinforcements are now desperately needed in these final 10 days.
The Whites failed with a lowball bid for Ljubicic weeks ago [Nancy Froston], and it looks as though they could return again with the player now keen on Elland Road.
It is said that £6.8million could be enough to get a deal done with FC Koln [Bild], and the money is there for Leeds and the 49ers to get this transfer over the line with ease.

The final third will take massive priority over the next 10 days, but an extra face in midfield with that creativity to unlock defences will help too.
A couple of new wingers, a midfielder and a full-back are expected at Elland Road in what should be a huge end to the window.
If they aren’t delivered, starting with Ljubicic, this would be nothing short of a disaster window, not only for us but for Farke in his desperate push for promotion.
In other Leeds United news, Patrick Bamford is set to stay at Elland Road past the transfer deadline.
