Daniel Farke now well placed to sign player he failed to land when in charge of Norwich
Leeds United are set for a quieter January transfer window under Daniel Farke but there still could be some activity at Elland Road.
The Whites are currently seven points clear of the Premier League relegation zone and have a fantastic chance of avoiding an immediate return to the Championship.
Leeds drew 1-1 with Sunderland last Sunday, meaning they are now unbeaten in their last five games, picking up nine points in that time.
Despite his side’s impressive recent form, Farke would still welcome any additions to his squad, especially if it is a player he has tried to sign before.

Daniel Farke going back in for Danilho Doekhi at Leeds
Leeds are now being linked with Union Berlin defender Danilho Doekhi ahead of the January transfer window opening on New Year’s Day.
The Whites are reportedly satisfied with their options along the backline, but would still consider a move for a Dutchman if the right deal arises.
It’s not the first time that Farke has been in for Doekhi either, as the German tried to sign the centre-back when he was in charge of Norwich back in the summer of 2021.
The defender, who was playing for Vitesse in the Netherlands at the time, clearly made an impression on Farke, as he is targeting him again over four years later.
Doekhi has made 15 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, already managing to score four goals.

Leeds have one big advantage which will help them sign Doekhi
Farke was unsuccessful in his pursuit of Doekhi back in 2021, with the centre-back making the move to Union Berlin the following summer.
However, the Leeds boss now has a golden chance to finally secure the 27-year-old, given his contract situation in Germany.
Doekhi’s current deal at Union Berlin expires at the end of the season, meaning the Bundesliga side will have to sell him in January if they want to recoup any sort of fee from his departure.
Leeds may still be able to get their hands on the Dutchman for knock down price, which could prove an enticing prospect for the West Yorkshire outfit.
