Daniel Farke now has next new signing lined up after Noah Okafor deal announced

Leeds United are moving on to bigger, better things after welcoming Noah Okafor to Elland Road.

Leeds United have had a week for the ages. A Luka Nmecha penalty against Everton announced United to the Premier League once again.

But Daniel Farke’s side were not done there. Noah Okafor was confirmed as Leeds’ latest addition as they look to continue their fine run of form in the Premier League.

However, Farke wants guarantees that his team can continue to compete at the highest level. As such, the Whites are back shopping in the window once more.

Daniel Farke is hoping to add full-back to his squad

The arrival of Okafor is tipped to end Leeds’ pursuit of Manor Solomon, who was teased with a return to Elland Road this summer.

However, Farke is set to see several other additions walk through the door before the window shuts.

The i Paper has reported in its print edition on Friday, 22 August, that Farke wants to add a full-back to his squad. This was confirmed last week following the arrival of former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

It also remains to be seen whether Leeds will add another out-and-out striker. This is especially because Okafor has the versatility to play across the front line.

This comes after Leeds’ interest in Leicester City fullback James Justin took a hit after he was substituted during the Foxes’ 2-1 defeat against Preston North End.

While there is a degree of optimism that the transfer will go over the line, Leeds will be on the lookout for alternatives just in case.

There is no one better on the market than James Justin

While Leeds will be relentlessly searching for a potential fullback, Justin may be the best option on the market.

According to FBref, Justin is in the 87th percentile for interceptions compared to other fullbacks last season. He also takes the cake for clearances and is in the 95th percentile.

But the fullback’s greatest strength seems to be in the air, where he places in the 97th percentile.

A traditional fullback who is as efficent in the air as he is going in for the tackles, it would be a huge miss to miss out on him this summer.
