Crysencio Summerville ‘very likely’ to leave Leeds United amid £30m Liverpool claim
Crysencio Summerville is “very likely” to leave Leeds United, according to Ben Jacobs.
The journalist shared an update on the winger amid interest from Premier League giants Liverpool, who are embarking on a new era under Arne Slot.
Jacobs told Give Me Sport (17 June): “It is very likely that Summerville departs Leeds.
“Liverpool are interested in him and there’s a real feeling that £30-35million might be good enough, even though Leeds’ valuation might be slightly higher.”
Will Leeds United forward Crysencio Summerville quit Elland Road?
It is very difficult to see Summerville still being a Leeds player come September.
And that will come as a big blow to Daniel Farke and supporters at Elland Road.
Summerville was perhaps the club’s most important player last season, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions.
The 22-year-old won’t be easy to replace and Farke will hope he doesn’t have to. Unfortunately, it is hard to see the player turning down offers from top Premier League sides.
And if the money is right, Leeds might feel that the best thing to do is sell the forward.
However, what they will be hoping for is securing a big-money transfer for the Dutchman.
While Liverpool are interested, and although it is being reported that £35million could be accepted, that could change if other clubs step forward.

The Whites will hope for something of a bidding war for their prized asset, which would drive up the price and soften the blow of losing the player.
In other Leeds United news, the club have received a £40million-plus boost at Elland Road.
