Crysencio Summerville shares Leeds United exit admission after transfer speculation he’s heard
Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville has admitted in an interview with Voetbal International that his future could lie away from Elland Road next season.
The winger arrived at Leeds three years ago aged just 18 and is now being linked with a move away from West Yorkshire following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
The Telegraph reported on June 20 that Summerville was keen on a move away, with and Summerville’s former club Feyenoord both said to be interested in the 21-year-old’s signature.

Summerville, who is currently representing the Netherlands at the Under-21 European Championships, has now spoken out following speculation over his future.
“I would not know yet whether I will play for Leeds next season. I also hear and read all kinds of things, but I do not want to be involved in that now. I have therefore asked my agent to keep all interest away from me for the time being. The first target is the Dutch juniors. I want to win. I am hungry,” he told Voetball International, as reported by 1908 (27 June).
Doubtful
The winger’s comments do not sound like those of a player committed to the cause.
Fans knew that as a result of relegation from the Premier League, it would be difficult to keep hold of some first-team stars and Summerville was always going to be one who might have his head turned this summer.

Summerville suggesting that he is not sure whether or not he will be a Leeds player next season perhaps implies that he does not wish to be, as it would be a strange comment for a player happy at the club to make.
If Leeds are forced to sell the 21-year-old, they will hope to at least get a respectable fee. The forward scored on four occasions and provided two assists in 28 league appearances last season and could improve on those numbers in a team fighting higher up the Premier League or in another European division.
