Celtic fans set to be riled as Leeds United ready Carter-Vickers transfer
Leeds United could potentially leave Celtic fans raging by signing Cameron Carter-Vickers this transfer window.
The USA international has been one of the best players at Parkhead since joining the Hoops from Tottenham in 2021.
Daniel Farke now wants Carter-Vickers at the Whites after he played a starring role in helping the Old Firm outfit win their fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title.
Jaka Bijol’s arrival at Elland Road looks set, and the West Yorkshire outfit may leave some people angry in Glasgow if they get their second centre-back from Celtic.

49ers Enterprises links with Rangers to leave Celtic fans upset with Leeds United transfer for Carter-Vickers
Celtic fans may not be pleased if 49ers Enterprises, who are involved in Rangers, sign Carter-Vickers.
Keith Jackson has questioned how the Hoops supporters will feel if Leeds, whose owners hold shares in the Gers, buy arguably their best centre-back.
The Daily Record journalist revealed the Whites’ strong interest in the 27-year-old defender, but wonders whether that could potentially rile up the Glaswegian outfit’s supporters.

Speaking on Hotline Live (16 June), Jackson said: “There’s a lot of speculation swirling out around there that a deal is on [for Carter-Vickers]. Leeds and Sunderland have been credited with a real strong interest. The Leeds thing, again, that’s an interesting factor.
“How would Celtic fans feel if the 49ers were to take away their star centre-back and take him down to Leeds next season?”
Carter-Vickers transfer may not happen at Leeds
Farke will potentially have Bijol in his ranks next season, giving Leeds quite a few options at centre-back.
Pascal Struijk picked up an injury at Elland Road towards the end of the previous campaign, but he’ll certainly be back soon and will undoubtedly be key for the Whites.
Joe Rodon has taken massive strides since signing for the West Yorkshire outfit and has developed into a reliable defender.
While Max Wober could leave Leeds this summer, Ethan Ampadu is another option Farke can use in the backline.
With several quality players at the German manager’s disposal, it seems unlikely that he’ll be able to convince Carter-Vickers to complete a transfer.
The American will arguably want to play a pivotal role in the starting lineup next season, which can’t be guaranteed at Elland Road.
Despite the West Yorkshire outfit playing Premier League football, that may not be enough to entice the 27-year-old, who is enjoying immense success at Celtic.
The Old Firm rivalry could potentially play a role in the USA centre-back’s decision as well, and he will certainly not want to upset the Hoops’ support by signing for the Peacocks.
