Bournemouth want £25m option to seal Luis Sinisterra transfer at Leeds United

Bournemouth are in talks to sign Leeds United attacker Luis Sinisterra and have submitted a loan offer with an option worth over £25m to sign him, according to Graeme Bailey.

The 90Min journalist, taking to his personal Twitter account (1 September), fellow Premier League club Brentford are also interested in the Colombian forward, but the Cherries are in pole position.

Fabrizio Romano had reported that a “verbal agreement” had been reached to send the 24-year-old on loan to the Cherries, even giving a “here we go” on the potential move but Bournemouth have offered a £25m loan option in a fresh new twist.

Bailey tweeted: “Bournemouth are in talks with Leeds over Luis Sinisterra, loan with option worth over £25m for Colombian.

“Brentford also keen but Bournemouth in pole position.”

Saga now drawing to a close

Just when you’d thought Sinisterra could well be staying at Elland Road after being pictured outside training saying he wanted to stay in West Yorkshire [LUFCFANZONE, 1 September], Daniel Farke has been handed a new spanner in his plans.

There is no surprise that he is a coveted player in the final hours, and until that deadline finally passes it is hard to rule out any of the Whites stars potentially still leaving, with Gnonto also attracting last minute interest along with Crycensio Summerville.

However, it was always unlikely Leeds United were going to keep all three of their top attacking stars but had one player been more likely to move it would have certainly been Sinisterra.

And the Colombian looks to be joining former Elland Road favourite Tyler Adams at the Vitality Stadium with the Cherries hell-bent on adding Sinisterra to their excitingly built attacking weaponry.

Let’s hope this move doesn’t prove to be a domino effect on the likes of Gnonto and Summerville because Farke desperately needs to keep at least two of those three talents.

With just hours left of the window to go, that dream looks to become a reality but you just never know on transfer deadline day. Anything can happen. These are nail-biting hours for the Leeds United fanbase.
