Blackburn ready to sell right-back Ryan Nyambe, Leeds United potential destination
Blackburn Rovers could sell Ryan Nyambe this month and Leeds United are a potential destination for the right-back, according to The 72.
The EFL-focused news outlet reports that as Nyambe, 24, is out of contract at the end of the season, Blackburn could be tempted to cash in on him in the January transfer window and value their academy product at £3million.
It is understood that if Nyambe does quit Ewood Park, Leeds and Southampton are two clubs he could potentially join.

Luke Ayling back-up
Leeds could do with adding some depth to their full-back options and for £3million, Nyambe could be a solid reserve for Luke Ayling whenever he’s injured or is called upon to play at centre-back.
However, we feel as though the need for a new left-back is greater because if Ayling is ever needed elsewhere, we have Stuart Dallas, Jamie Shackleton and youngster Cody Drameh who can step in.
Of course, we’d rather see Dallas not play there as he’s at his best in the midfield while Shackleton’s performances in the Premier League have failed to win us over.

But in Drameh, Leeds have a really good young option so there’s probably no point in signing Nyambe from Blackburn, even if £3million sounds like a decent fee for someone with his experience.
Nyambe has already made 190 appearances in all competitions for billionaire-owned Blackburn and also earned nine caps for Namibia.
As quoted by the Lancashire Telegraph in September, Rovers boss Tony Mowbray waxed lyrical about Nyambe.
He said: “The best one we’ve got, one-v-one, I never fancy anyone to beat Ryan Nyambe on a one-on-one.
“He’s got fantastic body strength, great acceleration, we know his growth areas. He got in behind late on and overhit his cross again. That’s alright, he’ll keeping working at that and get better.
“There are areas of his game that over the last few years have improved immensely, his heading is a million times better than it was, his passing is getting better, we just need to get his crossing better and we’ll have a top player.”
Despite Nyambe sounding like such a promising right-back, we’d rather a left-back was brought in instead.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites want a major new midfield signing in January after a bid was already turned down in the summer.
