Personal terms are now in order for Leeds United to complete the deadline-day signing of Marseille striker Bamba Dieng, according to Phil Hay.

The Athletic journalist has reported that the move is looking promising with the clubs also in agreement over a fee to end the striker crisis at Elland Road.

David Ornstein has since shared that it will be a four-year deal that Dieng agrees too, tying him down long-term in West Yorkshire ahead of the move.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Hay shared the news that everyone was waiting for as the move is set to go through with ease as things stand.

"Bamba Dieng to Leeds United looking promising," he wrote.

"Clubs in agreement over a fee and personal terms understood to be in order.

"Fulham have lined up a season-long loan for Dan James, who looks like leaving if Dieng arrives as planned."

Get it Done.

This is the one deal that everyone wanted at Elland Road.

A new striker is way more important that a left-back now that Rodrigo is injured for what could be weeks, if not months with his shoulder problem.

Dieng is seen as one of the most promising strikers in Europe right now, and to get him for under £10million, Leeds are absolutely laughing.

Missing out on Gakpo and Hwang this week may be the blessing in disguise that we needed, with way more money saved which could now go on other transfers.

Of course, we don't want to get carried away, but if Orta can wrap this one up quickly, it leaves him with the rest of the day to get on his phone and testing other clubs.

A new defender anyone? It certainly could be on the cards given how quickly we have got this one over the line, no one can rule anything out at Elland Road, especially on deadline day.
