Arsenal ‘seriously consider’ transfer move for Leeds United star Tyler Adams if club are relegated
Arsenal are seriously considering a transfer move for Tyler Adams this summer if Leeds United suffer relegation to the Championship.
The USA international hasn’t featured since March after undergoing a hamstring surgery and Sam Allardyce admitted that there is no chance of a return before the end of their season.
With the Whites sitting in the relegation zone one point adrift of safety with two games to play, the Gunners are now considering making a move should the club lose their Premier League status according to Fichajes.net (15 May).

One of many
If Leeds are to be relegated and Allardyce fails to keep us in the division, then Adams will surely be one of many to leave Elland Road during the summer window.
Andrea Radrizzani has splashed the cash since the club returned to the Premier League, but a return to the Championship would see several of those players want out and the club would surely need to cash in on them because of the major financial losses.
Adams was one of the stand-out performers in a struggling side when he did play this season and his reputation has not taken a hit despite the team’s poor performances.

A move to Arsenal would see him compete with Jorginho, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey for a spot in central midfield and would see him play in the Champions League, which would be hard to turn down.
A fee isn’t mentioned but Leeds would likely want to at the very least recoup what they paid 12 months ago, and then eyes will turn to who they’re able to keep.
Hopefully it won’t come to that though, as we still have two games to turn things around and stay in the top flight.
