Archie Gray expected salary shared after Leeds United, Brentford transfer falls through
Leeds United ace Archie Gray was set to earn £75,000-per-week has his move to Premier League side Brentford gone through, according to Alex Crook.
The journalist shared the news via talkSPORT’s website [29 June] when it looked certain Gray was set to move to Brentford.
A deal of up to £40million was in place, but it emerged on Sunday morning (30 June) that Leeds had rejected the bid [Graham Smyth].

Gray is a player whose name has been consistently linked with a move away from West Yorkshire throughout the summer transfer window.
The Leeds starlet has been a hot topic across the world of football thanks to his stellar performances during 2023/24.
This all comes despite the youngster being played outside of his natural position of defensive midfield for the entirety of the campaign.
Due to Leeds’ lack of a right-back last term, Gray had to be deployed as a full-back and fill in for the team when needed.
Supporters were upset at hearing the news of Gray being en route to London for a medical late on Saturday (29 June), but for now he remains a Leeds player.
Realistically, though, the foundations have now been set for a Gray exit in the coming days or weeks. If not to Brentford, then to another Premier League club.
