Archie Gray agent stance shared on Leeds United exit

Archie Gray is “not in a hurry” to move away from his boyhood club Leeds United this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

The media outlet wrote on its website (25 June) that his father Andy Gray and his current agent Hayden Evans agree with the decision to stay at Leeds.

Both Andy Gray and Evans believe that the 18 year olds career is “well served” in West Yorkshire.

In addition, the report details that they each have complete trust and belief in the direction that Daniel Farke is taking the club.

What this means for transfers out of Leeds United this summer

It had previously been suggested that Leeds would need to sell players in order to comply with Profit and Sustainability rules prior to the 30 June deadline.

However, the Yorkshire Evening Post (25) detailed a fuller version of the situation at Elland Road right now, which presented an altogether healthier picture of where the club are.

As such, fears over losing several of their big players are being alleviated and it looks increasingly unlikely that there will be any temptation at all to cash in on their teenage prodigy Gray this summer.

Others such as Crysencio Summerville might still be on the radar of many clubs, while Marc Roca still looks pretty certain to join Real Betis on a full transfer.

But the good news for Leeds fans is that Gray, his family, and his representatives all look pretty comfortable with another season in the Championship.

And that is absolutely music to the ears of supporters ahead of another tilt at promotion next term.

In other Leeds news, the Whites have made an announcement in regard to their pre-season tour – it’s not good news for fans.
