Anton Stach ‘set for transfer’ as Leeds United make move

Leeds United appear to have taken a significant step towards signing Hoffenheim midfielder Anton Stach.

The Whites have already signed Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw as they look to bolster their side ahead of the new season.

Gabriel Gudmundsson also appears set to join Leeds as a replacement for Junior Firpo.

Leeds United make contact to sign Stach

The Whites have made contact in order to pursue the services of Stach, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

An offer has yet to be submitted by the Yorkshire club for the 26-year-old Germany international.

However, a deal is possible as the midfielder could part ways with the Bundesliga outfit in the coming weeks to move to the United Kingdom.

Stach is considering an exit amid interest from Leeds and with the club making contact, he could be tempted to leave.

Daniel Farke can get the best out of Stach at Elland Road

Daniel Farke can maximise Stach’s potential at Leeds United by leveraging his versatility and tactical intelligence in a dynamic midfield role.

The 6ft 4in German midfielder excels as a deep-lying playmaker and he could be the one anchoring the play for the Elland Road outfit.

Farke should ideally deploy him in a double pivot alongside Ethan Ampadu in a 4-2-3-1, allowing Stach to dictate tempo with his sublime pass accuracy and break lines with progressive passes.

His physicality suits the Premier League’s intensity, so he should be a natural fit in the English top flight.

To help Stach adapt, Farke should integrate him gradually, bringing him off the bench in the first few games, while fostering team cohesion through structured pressing drills.

Regular mentorship from experienced players and off-field support, such as language coaching and cultural integration, will ease his transition, ensuring Stach becomes a cornerstone of Leeds’ midfield in their fight against relegation.
