AC Milan want to sign Luis Sinisterra, Leeds United want £21.5m to sanction exit
AC Milan want to sign Luis Sinisterra from Leeds United this summer, with the Whites willing to let him leave for £21.5m according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
Sinisterra joined from Feyenoord last summer and enjoyed a good debut season, but suffered with injuries and couldn’t stop the club from being relegated to the Championship.
Now Champions League semi-finalists Milan are interested in signing the Colombian international this summer, and the player will be allowed to leave Elland Road if the right offer comes in.

“A year after his move from Feyenoord to Leeds United, Luis Sinisterra is allowed to leave the English club,” they wrote (29 June).
“No concrete negotiations at the moment. However, several clubs have already obtained information on the economic aspects of the deal and among these there is also Milan.
“Sinisterra’s valuation is 25 million euros (£21.5m): to date no offers but many requests for information.”
Expected
It really is beggars belief that Leeds’ squad is full of so much talent and yet were relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
So many players are being linked with an exit away from the club because they’re being deemed good enough to play at a higher level than the second division in England, and Sinisterra is just adding to that list.

His performances in the 2022/23 season were strong and had he been able to avoid injury and play during the run-in, then it’s definitely conceivable that he would have been the difference between relegation and safety.
Leeds spent around £21m to bring him from Feyenoord so recouping that money would be a good deal at this point, especially considering how many players seem to have release clauses after the relegation.
It will be a shame but should top teams come in, fans have to expect that players will leave and Sinisterra is one of our better players when he’s fit.
